I was commissioned to make a couple of costumes for a friend of mine (Nan Curtis) for her neighborhood group that is raising funds to turn some land in her neighborhood into a park.  Anyways, she wanted me to make adult sized costumes – a bird and a tree.  I ended up making a doug fir tree and a pileated woodpecker.  Here are a few pictures, Nan is going to send me some from the actual parade – costumes in action. These pictures are from my house.
