These are some of the drawings I worked on while at Spread Art in Detroit in May. These images are moments I’ve caught while my oldest son plays. I chose these images because I believe they highlight his unique way of playing that is distinctly tied to the way his brain is wired and the way he sees, understands and interacts with the world around him (or, more precisely, ignores it for a world of imagination, dreams and stories). These images are not the best photographs, they are not greatly lit – but I’m ok with that, for now.
