poems vol 1 & 2

I printed myself a couple copies of a collection of poems i’ve been working on for years.

i used a type writer to type out the poems, glued them into the perfectly sized book and then drew and painted around them. I had spend over a year trying to figure out how these go together, how i make it work and when i figured it out it was like a release, a cascading of focus until it was completed. I am hoping to do something with this collection more but for now, at least it is noted on this page.

How to Start a Farm in 4 Easy Steps (excerpts from an ongoing document) is in fact only loosely a manual for starting a farm. This short collection of works is a mix of poetry and prose pulled from a larger memoir that is still in progress.

This project has been developed while in residence with From the Ground Up, a local nonprofit that works with female and non-binary creators to develop and tell their stories. This book was self-published for two nights of public readings during Still Here: A Mini Festival of New Works in Progress in June 2022.
