This quilt is the result of a collaboration with my husband, Brandon Conway. We filmed our 2 boys at play in the living room for a 45 minutes period of time, Brandon then wrote a computer program using MAX MSP that followed the movement of the boys based on their shirt color, (Alvah in orange, Heywood in blue) turning their movements into lines. I took those lines and then quilted them onto a hand-sewn quilt top made of fabric I inherited from Brandon’s aunt who had recently passed away.
